.....Since 2002, Johnson-Miller has catered through her 350 Degrees Personal Chef Service for people who she said are too busy to cook or do not know how.

“Some people really do just want some remnants of what mom used to make.  And some people have a more upscale taste; they want that restaurant quality,” Johnson-Miller said.  “But they want it at home.”

She had no clients her first year in business. Now she has worked with 40, including a few regulars customers.

For $180, clients can have three meals, ranging from homestyle to full-scale gourmet, all of which is prepared by Johnson-Miller. She does all of the shopping for the meals, comes to the client’s home with her own equipment, prepares the meals and places them in microwave friendly containers to be heated later.
